The Preparation Stage (Before Printing)
These steps that must be done before printing. Even without proceeding to print, some of these steps are still necessary.
Check the printing files for errors and then impose them for the printing plate
Once ordered, determine the material specifications (size and amount) and schedule the cutting.
Use the CTP machine to make the PS printing plates, then install them in the printers
The Surface Finishing Stage (After Printing)
Foil stamping, embossing, and UV coating are detailed on other pages. Here, we will cover several other types of post-press finishing.
Lamination or coating is required for most printed sheets to make boxes. However, some projects do not need this step.
Makes the printed paper look artistic. After pressing, the surface has patterns that are raised up or pressed down, which you can see and feel.
Reverse UV gets a high-gloss finish and a matte finish with a frosted texture on a single print.
Print markings such as the production date, expiration date, batch number, and company logo on the products.
A Few Other Aspects in Paper Box Production
Blister Varnishing
The paper is coated with blister varnish and die-cut. Then, it is laminated to a plastic blister shell using a blister sealer or a high-frequency sealer.
Double Faced Adhesive Tape
Some packaging items require 3M double-sided tape, such as folding magnetic boxes,seal end boxes, childproof boxes, and belly band packaging.
Hand Folding
Our production relies heavily on manual folding. For example, cards and paper bags need to be carefully folded by hand.
Clear Window/Open Window
The PVC/PET window on the paper boxes allow you to see, touch, and even smell the product inside.
Moving on to Printing
- We operate Heidelberg printing presses to guarantee quality.
- During printing, we perform on-press checks and color matching.
- The sheets are then left to dry thoroughly to prevent ink smudging.
- Finally, we conduct random sampling inspections on the printed sheets.
